This is a Final Fantasy V remix I was doing for a Final Fantasy V project as a personal obligation. However, the person in charge of that project I started to have problems with and after 6 months of it sitting in the Judge's queue and getting banned from Ocremix.org (a blessing in disguise I later learned), I decided to take it off of both and post it myself in various channels.

I really didn't know how I was going to remix this track, Exdeath's track is ugly as sin, so the best way I could figure out how to make this track was to envision sort of a Darth Vader death march in the world of FFV. Exdeath walks across the summit of his castle and summons the mighty Void and sucks up town after town, and then it takes place from the town's perspective as they try to summon up strength to fight the void and find themselves in a desert... I don't know, it just seemed to work somehow that way.

I would've continued on the desert theme into something but I ran out of time and resources to be able to work on it. Believe it or not, I had to finish this track the same day I got home from a cancer operation, an operation that meant me and my Mom went under the knife for cancer-related reasons at the same time on a Friday morning in November 3-5 miles away. The story gets even weirder from there, so we don't go into it.

I used Kompakt, Colossus, z3ta, Ethno World 3 and a bunch of other sounds I would not have ordinarily wanted in an orchestral-based track. I would've loved to have used EWQLSO if I had it at the time and I wished I could've done a better job mixing it, but considering I lost all that and cannot recover the music track anymore, this turned out reasonably well.
