Meteo Xavier is an East-Tennessee based, autistic student composer vying like a fool to be a part of the great video game music Valhalla. He is formerly of ocremix.org and is now pursuing more creatively controlled video game remixes as well as a (currently) solo career in composer-based electronica and orchestral music. He released his first album of originals in February 2010 under the name 12 Followers/Meteo Xavier and, as of writing (6/20/10), is currently on an "approved" list to join a higher-powered record label in the UK.
And now a pretentious resume that looks a lot more important than it really is, but might still delight those curious enough to venture:
Video Game Music:
- 30 and Dirty (iPhone) - roughly two tracks, as heard by over 50,000 people.
- Elives (In development) - German-based MMORPG in which I will be contributing 5 RPG-style tracks
- Untitled (In development) - German-based student game in which I will be contributed 10 Silent Hill-style tracks
- Valkyrie Profile remix - "Yggdrasil Speaks To Me" - badly mixed remix that somehow made it to ocremix.
- Final Fantasy V remix - "Twisted Devil, Grinding Soul" - better remix that I pulled from ocremix due to personal issues with certain staff members there. Also pulled from a FFV Project album for the same reason - spite. Will likely resubmit without connections to the FFV Project (I expect issues there).
- "Songs of Light and Darkness" - This is an Ocremix Project album for Seiken Densetsu III which I contribute three tracks and am listed as a staff member for recruitment.
- Gamecola - "Five is Average" podcast theme for Gamecola.net, made like an NES style chiptune track.
12 Followers/Meteo Xavier:
- Espers - an original album of soundscape-driven songs that was conceived largely because I just wanted to get one done and because ambient music was all I had to work with at the time. The goal was to make ambient music that was anything but the stereotypes afflicted to ambient music. It features production work by Andrew Aversa (Zircon) of Ocremix fame and a gorgeous collaboration made possible by Michael Huang of Sonic-Expression.
A full version to listen to appears on Myspace and if you wanted to purchase a copy, it's $5.99 at Cdbaby.
I also have a blogspot site, just in case.
That's all for now. Thank you.
