Not bad for three hours

If I could write songs like this in three hours, I'd be pretty happy. It would be interesting to see you upload a revision after a few more hours' work, because I think that this song has the potential to be pretty good if looked at as a song, rather than entirely as an ambient game piece serving a particular purpose. The piece, as is, would be great for a game, but I think that it could instead be turned into a starting point for a song rather than a background track.
Perhaps some guitar improvisation could be added. That would provide some more variation in the melody, and could produce an excellent song that would stand on its own even if it weren't included in a game.
