Description

Ys 6 - Quatera Woods in a hard rockish style with flute, violin, and piano included.

This was one of the first songs that I learned all by ear.  The piano is a keyboard set to constant max velocity because I didn't know any better!  But it was played for real, not sequenced.  I did break it up into left hand and right hand and record those parts separately, using both hands for each, haha.

This song is exceptional.  I wonder if these ratings should be modified to separate the technical and the creative aspects of the song.  Technically, this song is perfect.  There are no errors in the performance, the melody is great, and the production is top-notch.

But on the other hand, I think that there wasn't as much feeling in this remix as there could have been.  Perhaps a bit of improvisation could have been added.  I also thought that the harmony was lacking at times, missing an instrument in places.  I can see other people not being bothered by or not even noticing these things, however.
