Basically a medley of Kings' themes in the widest sense. I once got inspired by this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWfomlWeDog

and tried to do the same with the Revenge of the King ending theme (Kirby Super Star Ultra), adding more themes related to Kings in the progress (well, you know me). So I came up with the name "Tears of a King". However, it turned out I'll never be satisfied with the somewhat sad tone it had and I had problems with the mixing too. Basically, I wasn't able to properly imitate that style.

However...seeing as there were people who really wanted to hear it, I thought I can't just let it die. So I took the song, changed the style, changed some themes and called the result Gears of a King. The related YouTube video contains this song as well as the latest version of Tears of a King for those interested.

ANYWAY, to the song's content:

- King Dedede's Theme (Kirby Super Star)

- Revenge of the King Ending (Kirby Super Star Ultra)

- True Administrator (Touhou 13: Ten Desires; the fact that the related character is based on a prince is enough for me)

- Last Battle (Cave Story; one of the characters is even called King, also Demon Crown)

- Gerudo Valley (Legend of Zelda: OoT; for me it's Ganondorf's theme as the King of the Gerudo's)

- Bowser's Theme (Super Mario 64)

- Border of Life (Touhou 7: Perfect Cherry Blossom; the related character could be seen as princess of the Netherworld, which is apparently enough for me to include the theme)
