This came about whilst listening to Richard Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries." Although the original idea was Wagner-meets-Zelda it did not quite turn out that way. I am no Wagner. It is a work in progress and not finished. There is a lot of work to be done, but I intend to do it, so expect more updates.

The 4-star rating I gave this song is deceiving, so don't let yourself think that it's just an average work.  If we were grading on potential, I would give this six stars.  There are far too many zelda remixes out there, but what makes this one in particular worth listening to is the way in which the melody is transformed.  Almost every other zelda remix simply starts with the unchanged original melody and adds different accompianment to it.  In fact, you could go even further with this variation and still get away with it.

You might want to consider looking through the influences selection screen again.  There surely is an entry for the Zelda main theme.  You should consider spending a bit of experience and promoting this song on the front page to get more feedback.

Believe it or not, the only real problems with this piece are technical, and these may be problems only because you haven't devoted much effort to them yet.  Compared to many of today's remixes, the sample quality is lacking.  If he's willing to help, I would recommend contacting KiddCabbage.  Make a forum post if you don't know his contact information.  Kidd has a way with creating songs that sound as if they are played live, and this song would be awesome even if the only change were to improve the sample quality.
