I wrote this song a couple years ago, trying to capture the nostalgic sound and feel of the music from classic Super Nintendo RPGs.  The instrument samples used were all taken from various SNES games, but I couldn't figure out any way to accurately simulate the unique delay that the system used, so it doesn't sound quite as authentic as it could.  Plus, I didn't bother limiting myself to only 8 notes of polyphony. :P  But compositionally and structurally, I think you'll hear many of the elements that made game music from that era so special.

I felt like I was playing a Zelda game.  You hit the style perfectly! The melody is very strong and the chords flow very well, especially when you throw in the IV - iv -I part (I'm a sucker for that progression lol). Great composition!
