So here is my remix for the Ace Attorney contest... It is deffinately not my best remix, but I thought it turned out alright. I was a bit rushed for time becasue I was lazy and then realized that I had to finish before the 10th... But like I said, I think it turned out pretty decent. It's basically just "Objection" and "Cornered: Pressing Pursuit" rolled up into a techno-y song.
Hope you enjoy! :)

And I definitely enjoyed this song, I especially loved the Cornered parts.
The song has a lot of power, although I got the feeling the song goes a bit overboard (is a bit too loud) sometimes, I'm sure with some fine-tuning the song could turn out even better. And since I already like this arrangement a lot, I'd like to encourage you to do so. Finally, let me add that you still have time until the end of March to revise the song for the competition if you want.

Thanks for the input! :) With the extended amount of time, I will try and do that. However, although I get what you're saying, I am not really sure as to how I can "fine-tune" it, so to speak. I agree that it need it... It sounds a bit out of balance at some places, etc... But I am unfortunately not that great at pinpointing and adjusting small things. That being said, if you have any specific suggestions for specific places or instruments that I could "fine-tune" in any ways, they would be much appreciated. Once again, Thanks! :)

Unfortunately, I think that what DJ said is a common problem not only with remixes, but also with music in general. Unfortunately, the "loudness war" has spilled over to remixes, and many songs end up being less than great because of it. Clipping is almost never a good thing, and if the song sounds grating, then chances are that it is too loud.

Let me try to explain what I'm talking about. The song is a bit too loud at times, which causes "clipping" (for example about 0:38). So there are parts where you'd have to check that the volume doesn't exceed a certain level. Your program should be equipped with a peak meter, you simply have to avoid reaching the "red" part of it. So you can to listen to the song and watch your peak meter and adjust those parts which go above that critical level.
You COULD throw a limiter on your master track, which will automatically decrease the volume when the loudness goes above the critical point. It's the easy way, but there will be a loss of dynamics if you do that, meaning the song will sound less interesting. (...I hope that wasn't too technical)
If you're following my advice, the song will certainly sound amazing in the end, good luck!

Good catch, I assumed it was intentionally meant to sound dirty at that point (the one at 0:38)
