There appears to be some sort of issue with converting songs to MP3 format going on. Of course, as always seems to be the case, this issue one occurred in the middle of the night on a Monday, which means it will be at least another 12 hours before I can investigate it. Maybe, just one time, these issues could occur on a Saturday for once.

I'll make another post this evening after I've had some time to investigate. I apologize for the inconvenience. If you were affected by the issue, there is no need to re-upload songs; once it is fixed, all songs will be regenerated automatically.

This issue has been resolved. It turns out that it was caused by an incorrect directory path in a configuration file. Let me know if there are any other problems.

All songs have been reprocessed, so the correct bitrate and sampling frequency should now be displayed. Songs that were awaiting conversion are now converted.

DjTheS also experienced a problem with uploading files which led him to receive a white blank screen when the upload process finished - but I can't reproduce that error. If anyone else encounters it, let me know. It might have been caused the the directory path issue and therefore already be resolved.

So, I updated the song information (saying that both of the latest versions were the same), pressed the button "Save and publish", and it led me here: http://remixsquared.com/song/update/id/3194
Again, the page did not load, although the information has been saved. I hope this helps, but I'm really starting to think that I'm the only one with this issue...

Thanks again, DJ. I fixed the "white screen" issue. The cause was that the GD image processing library was not installed on the server, so I installed it. That explains why I couldn't reproduce the issue on the test server.

I didn't realize how many of these missing software issues there would be in what appeared to be a simple standard PHP webserver configuration. If you notice anything else that is missing, let me know - I can't imagine anything else that I forgot to install, but then again, GD was missing for over a month.
