These "duplicate upload" errors have reared their head again. Someone encountered three of them, probably while uploading a song. I've been trying to track them down for years, but since they only affect 1 out of every 20 or so users, I haven't been able to figure them out. This week I'm going to rewrite the entire upload tool if necessary to finally get rid of them.

I think that they mainly affect people who use Macs. If the person who encountered the error is reading this and remembers seeing it, any information you can share about how your system is set up would be appreciated.

Thanks to those who read this thread, but I decided to buy a license for "Fine Uploader," a different upload tool. You get what you pay for, and the time saved in implementing this better tool is worth more than the $15.00 cost the developer wants.

Expect a new file upload interface in the next few days that will hopefully eliminate these problems.
