"Soul of Rage" is a remix of SOR Super Mix from Streets of Rage 2. It has been redone many times by me (2006, 2009, 2010, 2011) and I'd like to show off an unreleased version of the track here. It's why I'm calling it the "GameRemixes.com edition." I ran into this site by accident, trying to look for an old VGMix archive. I'm actually glad, because now I have a place to upload my works again finally.

For those who don't know me, I am Red Rum. I was a remix artist at VGMix2 back in 2002-2003, and I am currently the head of a VG fangame project called "Bare Knuckle IV." I am most known for my musical works with Streets of Rage and Shenmue.

For those who do (which I'm guessing ain't much these days), look out because I'm back. :P

Alright, so let's talk about this track. Some here may have heard the previous Soul of Rage tracks, but this one combines the elements of all of those tracks, including the original that was submitted to OCReMix in 2006. It didn't make it, but I can see why. This is more of a cover than anything else, apart from probably the latest version released on January 26th this year, which adds arrangement. That's the final release of the track, if you want to know. I have no desire in reworking this track, because I have done all I have could with it. Now, I'm more big on original works and remixing other works outside of VG. After finding this site though, I suppose I'll get back into remixing VG once more. I now have a purpose again to do so.

Well, I have you guys enjoy. I can honestly say out of all of the versions of Soul of Rage, this one is perhaps the fullest one. It's a loop though, it has no outro. It just fades out at the start of the second loop-around. Again, enjoy. :)
