This is a remix of the Gradius III song, "Fire Scramble".

This is the first song I recorded using my Toneport GX. I had to buy a new laptop and the line-in jack was crappy compared to the old one. I recorded all my old songs by plugging my GNX3000 into the line-in, but it was made impossible with the new laptop. So I bought a Line 6 USB-audio interface, which also came with guitar amp/fx modeling software. For the synth-sounding guitar in this song, I used a stompbox model called "Bronzemaster", which is a simulation of a pedal that uses an octave-fuzz effect to simulate the sound of a brass instument.
