I have a very emotional attachment to music. I usually feel what the song tries to convey (I started to choke up one time listening to Radical Dreamers at work, gets me every time!). I enjoy many different genres of music, and listen to all of them at different times.
Music has always been a part of my life, however I never really embraced it. Started with the trombone in middle and high school, and early in college I started playing the guitar. Now I currently play the guitar and piano. I played sports during high school and college, and that took up much of my time, as well as the many hours playing video games. Over the past year music has become an intense hobby, and I often find myself lost in the music I am listening to (much to my boss' dismay).
Other interests: Guitar, Piano, baseball, beer, video games, doing something stupid (this may not be an interest, but I do it so often I figure I should put it on here)
Currently I do not work in the music industry, but I am interested in seeing what sort of opportunities are out there. I would consider myself to have a natural affinity towards music -- I feel it, and love it. I do not know much about music theory, orchestration, or the like, but am doing my best to learn it quickly (hence the guitar and piano lessons).
Favorite Quote: "Fear or stupidity has always been the basis of most human actions." - Albert Einstein (I can attest to this, at least the stupidity part).
General Motto in life: When in doubt, make fun of yourself.
I am too sarcastic for my own good.
