Historical announcement; references to uploads, registration and other interactive services describe the original site.

We're pleased to announce the release of version 1.1.0 of remixSite, in anticipation of the beginning of Composition Combat tomorrow. This version provides the ability to upload videos of your performances, or even videos of your music put to games, provided that you own all the intellectual property. The ability to upload videos is a community first.

Videos can be uploaded in the same way as normal songs. Click the standard "submit new song" link, and select your video file to upload. Videos are accepted in most formats, and can be up to 100MB in size. They can be downloaded as-is, or played in the browser after a conversion process converts them to Adobe Flash format. The Flash conversion process runs at 12 minutes after every hour. Help is available using the "Help" menu in the top bar.
