Major changes made

Historical announcement; references to uploads, registration and other interactive services describe the original site.

Today, I completed a week's worth of development on some major changes that will improve the way people listen to your music. The two most significant are non-Javascript versions of the grids, and very limited IE6 support.

The vast majority of visitors who don't use IE6 and who have Javascript enabled probably wonder why it's worthwhile for me to spend a week developing these backwards-looking features. The main purpose of the changes is for the site to become more friendly to search engines. Search engines don't run Javascript, and therefore, they can't follow the links to the song pages. By allowing search engines to spider the pages more efficiently, your songs should be searchable through Google, Bing, Yahoo!, and similar sites relatively soon. Also, while the site looks horrible in IE6, at least people can bring it up now, so the 9% or so who still use IE6 can hopefully get to your songs until they finally upgrade.

These changes are important because they will increase traffic to artists' songs, which will encourage more people to post songs, which will hopefully create a feedback loop of increasing visits. The enhancements should be available later tonight. Try searching for your songs in the next few days!
