Hi, there! My name's Alayna (pronounced "Ah-LAY-nuh." Lots of people get that wrong, and I don't know why.) I'm sixteen, and being a videogame composer would be my dream job. I love music and writing it and playing videogames, so how would it not be the perfect future career for me? My favorite composers by far are Motoi Sakuraba (mostly Bandai Namco stuff) and Koji Kondo (if you don't know him, then you might want to get some research done. ;) )
I've only been composing the way I do for a year or so, and I've been barely playing the saxophone for as long. I play alto saxophone, hence my name, "Alayna the Alto." (It has nothing to do with my voice; I'm mostly a mezzo-soprano.) My style so far reflects what you'd fine in a fantast-RPG-action game. Or, by my influences. I try to use my saxophone as much as I can when I write music, but seeing as my skills still need work... well, good thing my Casio WK-200 has plenty of tones for me to choose from. ;)
I'm so happy I found this website while searching the internet! I think it's the perfect place for me. :)
